MEDITERRANEAN CRUISE

We have already returned from our Mediterranean cruise. We have celebrated the end of course trip: two teachers with 28 students on a boat for a week. A challence!
We have visited the cities of Monaco, Savona, Pisa, Florence and Rome.
  • In Monaco, we visited the F1 racetrack and the Casino.
  • In Savona, the fortress of Priamar and a Sixtine Chapel.
  • In Pisa, we visited the Piazza del Duomo, also known as Miracle square. We admired the Leaning Tower, one of the 7 wonders of the world, the Baptistery and the Cathedral.
  • In Florence, the Piazza della Signoria and the Piazza del Duomo.
  • In the Vatican, we visited the Square and the Basilica of St. Peter.
  • In Rome, we visited the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain (whose custom is to throw two coins back to the fountain, one to return to Rome and another for a wish), the Pantheon and Piazza Navona.
All visits were very fast (a whistle-stop tour)  because we had to return to the ship to sail to the next destination.
My students have had a great time, just like me. They have behaved. One student had an allergic reaction to chlorine after using the Jacuzzi and some students felt seasick  when we returned to Barcelona because we were in the open sea and the ship was moving more.
The days on board the cruise were full of activities.
  • In the morning gymnastics, stretching, dance classes, games and competitions. (Although some students spent the morning sleeping).
  •  In the afternoon, jacuzzy and sunbathing.
  •  In the evening, theme parties: white party, fancy dress party and gala evening with the captain.
In addition to performances at the theater, of course.
All this encouraged with our all inclusive on board, and the waiter service that  spoiled us very much.
On the other hand, the weather was gorgeous. A fantastic experience for repeat.
